Unity Sporting Club was formed in 2007 to support and develop grassroots football for the local communities. Unity Sporting Club operates like a sporting academy providing professional knowledge football, organising football competition and still making sure it stays in touch with the very people the Unity was setup to help and protect, which are the children and youths of Wenchi District, B/A region and Ghana.

In the shortest time the Unity Sporting Club has achieve many beneficial things for the community, such as the introduction of an annual football tournament which gives local youngsters in teams around the area to participate against each other and the winning team playing in a grand finale against Unity Academy teams.
